    Original Centerifugal switch on motor does not match replacement part number. Motor works. Looks like I need to replace the motor and switch?

    not working
    my compactor is stuck about 1 inch from the totally up position and won't move up or down. when i hit switch it just hums. If i continue to hit switch the unit motor stops completely for about 3 to 4 minutes and then comes on again. I can't open door because the compactor is about 1 inch down and doesn't allow the door to open! any suggestions. thanks

    Drawer will not open
    Door will not open and motor appear is not moving the crushing device.

    Does not close tightly
    I have a 9871751 compactor. Is is comparable to the 80C? The bin will not close tightly. Is there an adjustment I can make to it? Thanks Dave
