plastic gear not strong enough

The drive base coupling and jar assembly coupling strip too easily. Perhaps they should be made of metal or of a stronger plastic. I accidently had the jar sitting less than snugly on the base and both the coupling and the gear were instantly stripped when I turned on the power.
