Maytag Double Oven Range MGR6775

Oven Temperature

The temperature on my new oven is way too hot. I purchased an oven thermometer because things kept burning. When I have the lower oven set at 350 it preheats to almost 500. It then seems to regulate if I turn it down to 300-325. Wondering if I need to contact dealer or if there is an easy fix for this
