Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB1050RES0

dirty dishes, ? filling rinse hole

There is an arrow where you put the rinse material in. The dishes have been dirty I filled it again but it wouldn't take any,I moved the button with the arrow to the far left and nothing. What's next?
