Beko gas cooker dg584x 50 twin

why wont the oven stay lit?

We have a beko dg584x gas cooker and the oven has developed a fault. When you light the oven it will only stay lit for a couple of minutes and then it goes out. Everything else works well, l was told there was a safety device for the oven door which turns the gas off if it detects that the door is open for too long. Any advice on this problem please?
