DCS Electric Wall Oven WOS-227

LED display of 2003 model

The LED display that shows clock, oven temperature etc has burnt out and is no longer visible. I have received conflicting repair opinions. One was that the control panel and LED are a single unit and must be replaced. Another indicated that the LED and contol panel are seperate and can be replaced individually. Does anyone have experience with this repair?
