'chgr err'

The disc trays are sticking out and will not go in. upon hitting power a 'chgr err' message appears then 'wait' flashes. the unit will not reacte to any buttons pushed. what is this problem and how do you correct it?

I also keep getting this "chgr err" on my system. The trays will not eject and I am unable to do anything.
