KitchenAid Appliances Food Processor KFP720

How do I use my food processor

I really have a KFP7200, but I suspect that these two are somewhat alike. I have a manual with all of the safety instructions, but no clue on how to use this machine. This is my very first experience with a food processor and I have no idea which blades to use and how to use them. I have succeeded in shredding carrots, but that's it. Turning baked potatoes into mashed potatoes including the skin is my first goal.
