Whirlpool Washer/Dryer Pair LA7800XP

Hot Water Load

In the last couple months whenever I'm doing a hot load the machine will not stop filling up I have to stand right by the washer so that I can turn it off from the wall. I don't have the problem with the cold. Any clue with what might be causing this? Thanks
