diVinci Home Theater Speaker System d-7

recently purchased the above system and it didn't come with a manual. don't know how to hook up to the tv. have the stereo part working but don't know how to hook up to tv to get surround sound for tv, video game, and movie watching. Can you help?

the tv is a lg flat panel product # 42lc7d - uk austljm (hopefully that will be some help)
