    Your disposal is jammed. Pull the sink strainer off,Unplug it, then stick a spoon or something in there to get out whatever is jammed in there. Try turning the inside back and forth to loosen the object, put the sink strainer back on, plug it in, turn it on. if your overload switch tripped,(no sound) look under the unit on the side for a red button, push it in
