I have your same problem. Have yu been able to locate the overflow switch? I believe that's the culprit.

  • VUD 141 will run drain pump forever

In my case the problem was a stuck overflow sensor probably due to a food particle interfering with the mechanical actuator. I temporarily removed the microswitch located behind the plate where the AV mains terminal block is located at the base of the pump and everything went back to normal. You can remove the switch by gently pushing the tab located on the far end with a long scredriver tip or someting like that while wigling the switch out. I used hemostat tweezers locked to the base of one of the terminal wires. It came out quite easily exposing the mechanical actuator which was stuck in the "overflow" position. I am now running it through a cycle after carefully cleaning the bottom of the circulating pump in the hope that it will free itself, otherwise I'll be contemplating having to take the entire pump apart.
