General Electric Compact Dryer DPXH46

belt replacement
Posted by bridgmanpottery on Sep 3rd, 2008 at 5:43pm

there are no instructions for doing this in the manual. I've sortof figured out how to get the top off, but the actual parts on my dryer (ie: number of screws holding the top on) don't match the drawing or number of screws in the book. Is there a source for instructions on taking the dryer apart to replace the belt?

it's a 2004. I've looked at the pictures/instructions on appliantology, but it's not quite the same.
