Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Maker tm50p

turning it on

When I plug in my Mr.Coffee Ice Tea maker, the on switch automatically comes on. Then about 5 seconds later it shut off. Then whe I go to push the ON button, ON, it will not light up or turn on. Then other times, when I push the On button ON, it will come on, then 5-10 seconds later, it automatically shut off. It won't stay on to brew.
