The recall was performed on the unit about a year ago. A burnt smell came from the dishwasher setting off the fire alarm. We hired someone from SEARS to check the dishwasher out. He said the dishwasher was fine. We then hired an electrician who said it's the dishwasher. He tested the circuits. Both say run the dishwasher but I'm afraid it may burn the house down.
