General Electric Front-Load Washer WCSR2070T

Load Size Wiring
Posted by debbieinroswell on Sep 5th, 2008 at 6:27am

I recently had a repair on my washer that required the Load Size control and assembly to be removed to remount the timer to the assembly plate (broken tabs). When replaced, what could have caused an overflow of water (regardless of load size selection)? This was not a pre-existing condition nor continued after the repairman returned and adjusted the wiring on this control. I know there are what appears to two ground type wires and a black connection to the control. I'm desperate for answers and can't seem to get a response from anyone I have called/written with a most likely or probable cause in their expertise to what may have occurred in the repair/reassembly that caused the overflow. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
