Amana Electric Range Easy Touch 500

Touch pads not working

In the middle of cooking dinner last night the range made a noise, I'm guessing it was the buzzer but I wasn't right there so I'm not sure, then the clock stopped working, showing just kind of a very faint outline of 88:88. The buttons no longer work to turn the oven on, set the clock, etc. I've shut the power off to it to see if it would reset but it doesn't work. It was purchased 3 years ago. The stove top still works and I suspect the oven still works, but I can't turn it on. Any ideas?
