General Electric Gas Cooktop ZGU375NS

I cleaned the cooktop and now the right burner stays red and makes the clicking noise. I've unplugged the entire unit over night and as soon as I plug it in, it starts to click again. When on with a pot on it, it stops clicking. What can I do to fix it.
