  Manufacturer's defect?    I just called Osram/Sylvania to get a copy of the owner's manual from Galanz at 1-800-856-8977 they can mail or fax it to you ... and was told by the "operator" that the issues I am having with beeping are not repairable and are a "manufacturer's defect."
